Christmas Program 2018... "That Special Night"

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Great work kids!

Join us for the Concordia Christmas Concert! We still have 14 tickets at a discounted rate of $15. (Regular price is $22) Call the church office at 281-3638 to reserve your ticket. Concordia Christmas Concert Saturday, December 1 St. Paul’s Fellowship Committee has purchased 25 tickets and is hosting a bus trip to attend the annual Concordia Christmas Concert on Saturday, Dec 1th at 2:00 p.m. We will be loading the bus from the church parking lot at 11 A.M. and departing at 11:30 A.M. for the concert, followed by a stop at the Frying Pan in Moorhead for dinner on the way home. The bus ride is FREE and tickets for the concert can be purchased at the GROUP RATE of $15. Please make your check out to ST. PAUL’S FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE. We are collecting for the ticket(s) at the church office when you sign up. Tickets will be handed out as we board the bus. For questions, call Dale Knotek at 281-6680.

The youth packed up 114 backpacks for the WELCA ladies tonight. Thanks kids!

Once again it is school supply sale time! Please consider donating school supplies needed for the WELCA/congregational school kits project. If you cannot furnish a complete school kit, you are welcome to donate individual items. Here is a list of what each kit contains: * 70-sheet spiral bound notebooks(4)……..…(wide or college ruled paper) * 30 centimeter ruler (or a ruler with both centimeter and inch measurements) * pencil sharpener * blunt scissors…….(safety scissors with embedded steel blades work well) * #2 pencils (5)……..(un-sharpened with erasers ;secured with a rubber band) * black or blue ballpoint pens (5)…(no gel ink-- secured with a rubber band) * box of 16 or 24 crayons * 2 ½” erasers Please do not donate any item decorated with religious symbols or, messages, nor the US flag, patriotic or military symbols, or references to the armed forces, including camouflage. Thank you!

Worship Sign-Up Now Available Online Signing up to usher, acolyte, greet, serve communion, read Scripture, or take a turn at hosting Fellowship hour can now be easily done on your phone or computer. At the top of the church webpage www.stpaulscrookstonmn.com, look for the WORSHIP SIGN UP tab. It will take you to the schedule for the June – December worship services. There you can see what spots have been filled and what service opportunities are still available. You will receive a reminder a few days before the event, so you don’t have be concerned about forgetting when you signed up to serve. If you don’t want to sign-up online – no worries! You can also still sign up on the church bulletin board, or by contacting the church office. Thanks!

Summer Service Opportunity July 9 - 12! Volunteers needed to serve Crookston youth at the Summer Food Program at Highland Park Complex. The Summer Food Program offers free lunch to youth ages 0-18. Volunteers are expected to be at Highland Park at 11:20am. They will meet our site supervisor, Anita Brekken, when they arrive. Lunch service runs from approximately 11:30-12:30. We ask volunteers to stay until around 12:30 or when the site is no longer busy, whichever comes first. St. Paul’s is scheduled to serve Monday, July 9 – Thursday, July 12. We need 2 volunteers per day. St. Paul's Lutheran Church VBS 2018: Shipwrecked and being rescued by Jesus! Thank you to the MANY WONDERFUL volunteers to make this day a success! We had 32 children attend and hope they had a blast.

This Sunday is your last chance to bid on the wonderful silent auction baskets to help the youth to Houston! The auction will close after fellowship hour 3/25/18

There were many super hero's at St. Paul's for VBS last week!

New members were welcomed today along with this great song by the choir and Nicole Jacobson on the violin.
